Goodwin's diary, 1909, April 9th. ‘Sent for tickets for Baveno, for the four of us to start on Friday next. Went over to Winchelsea and got a note for some sketches of Rye and Winchelsea, wanted to illustrate an article in ’Studio' fortunately I have most of them ready, as they are wanted at once.'
