Antique French comtoise clock. Repousse florals and foliage through the design. Obverse reads ALIX A CHARLIEU and features colorful florals. Bell to the top. Side opens to reveal mechanism. Come with two weights and a pendulum. Weights appear to be iron. Pendulum crafted from a brass toned metal. Pendulum is filled with beads, tape to reverse over a hole to access beads. Pendulum approx 42 inches in length. Clock measures approx. 16.5L x 6.5D x 12.5W in. Not tested for functionality. Some discoloration and surface wear present. Some denting to metal. Hole present to one of the weights. Possibly brass, possibly gilt metal.
