ALPS Shoji Ltd. Bumper Cars
Japanese. 1960s. ALPS Shoji Ltd. was a Japanese novelty company that specialized in battery-operated tin robots, character toys, and vehicles. The rarer pieces, such as the bumper cars, are popular with collectors. Marked, "ALPS", on back of the passenger seat of each car. Marked, "Flare Import Corp. New York", on underside of the red car.

Condition
Both cars in in overall great condition. Blue car: Shows some scratches and scuff marks throughout body and underside of toy. Red car: The Doll has some hair loss and the lightbulb has been replaced. Some scratches and scuff marks throughout body and underside. Some oxidation on underside.
