Condition Report: retaining original stretcher and canvas, but the back of canvas has been lined with a thick layer of translucent wax to repair a large tear through the child's hair and squirrel on her shoulder at left that also spans across her eyebrows (appx. 8 x 6 in.); touches to craquelure mostly through the mid section; two chips to frame at bottom ribbon
