Base marked "ALVIN STERLING / V14-1 / 16 IN." Alvin Mfg Co./Silver Co./Corporation, Irvington, NJ (active 1886-1895), Sag Harbor, NY (1895-1928), and Providence, RI (1886-c. 1970). 16" HOA.
