The California landscape with homes in the foothills, displayed in a very nice frame from the period, likely the original, is signed lower left by the artist in dark blue pigment.
Amanda Jacobsen studied with John H. Carlsen, Birger Sandzen, and Randall Davey before settling in California to teach and paint there for the rest of her life.
Board measures 16 x 18 with a framed size of 20.5 x 22.75 inches.
