Executed in 1909.

Condition Report:
The canvas is original and undulates slightly. There are two patches to the reverse of the canvas. On very close inspection, a repaired tear is evident in the lower left quadrant and in the lower right quadrant. There is a very faint stretcher bar mark to the left edge, with small associated instances of very fine lines of craquelure. There are instances of very small fine lines of craquelure in the lower right quadrant, with possible more minor instances elsewhere.There is dust and dirt and studio detritus to the surface of the work. A thick layer of varnish has been applied to the surface of the work.

Inspection under Ultraviolet light reveals fluorescence and retouching to the aforementioned repaired tears with further scattered instances elsewhere. The layer of varnish under Ultraviolet light appears green, making the work difficult to read.

This work is presented in a painted wooden frame.
