A George III mahogany longcase regulator, the hood with lancet top and brass inlaid Gothic style quatrefoil decoration, the trunk with reeded and stop-fluted pilasters flanking the lancet topped door, on plinth base, the circular silvered dial with outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at twelve and subsidiary hours dial at six, dial engraved by retailer Widdowson & Veale, Strand, London, the single train movement with deadbeat escapement, 203cm high 46cm wide
