AMENDMENT - This is by François Rude. It is a model for one of the figures decorating the tomb of the sculptor Pierre Cartelier (1757-1831) in the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris. A Continental Grand tour type plaster allegorical frieze of Goodness, late 19th century/ early 20th century, a classical maiden cradling a dove between two Corinthian capital columns, with stepped cornices and base, the base with inscription Bonte, signed Rude, 100cm high, 63cm wide
