American (possibly Eastern Shore Virginia), first-quarter 19th Century. Yellow pine and blue-painted one-piece cupboard with stepped cornice over picture frame-molded body. Two six-light glazed doors in front of scroll-cut and shaped interior shelves, above two tall, raised panel lower doors. Straight-bracket stepped cutout feet. The top right corner is chamfered, likely to fit in the space it was built for. The blue in a grungy surface. Overall, 87"h. 44.5"w. 38" corner. Purchased at Garth's Auctions (Delaware, Ohio).
