SYNTAX CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising an oval platter with scene "Doctor Syntax / advertisement / for a Wife" and a 9 1/4" D plate with scene "Doctor Syntax / disputing his / Bill with the / Landlady", each having floral border with title on base. Printed mark on base "BUFFALO POTTERY / SEMI-VITREOUS / 1909". Buffalo Pottery Company, Buffalo, New York. Circa 1909.

Condition: Platter undamaged except for expected short scattered scratches to interior and plate with bruise on rim underside.

Size: Platter 14 1/8" x 11 1/4".
