AMERICAN BUFFALO POTTERY EMERALD DELDARE CERAMIC VASE, known as the "American Beauty" pattern, the decoration includes white and green fluttering butterflies on the upper half with star-shaped flowers on the lower half. Signed "M.[abel] Gerhardt." with printed mark "1911 / BUFFALO / POTTERY / EMERALD / DELDARE / WARE / UNDERGLAZE" and hand-brushed "132." Buffalo Pottery Company, Buffalo, New York. Circa 1911.

Condition: Moderate crazing, otherwise undamaged.

Size: 13 1/4" H.

Provenance: From the estate of Holton Rosenquist, Bradford, IL.Catalogue Note: Signed by Mabel Gerhardt, the eldest of two Gerhardt sisters, who were considered some of Buffalo Pottery's most skilled ceramic decorators.
