Ex-Seymour and Violet Altman.Catalogue Note: According to Altman, assistant George H. Wood made approximately six Portland vases in 1925. In 1946, President Gould, using the original plaster cast, reproduced a limited number, but they did not compare to the excellent quality of the 1925 Wood produced vases.
