AMERICAN BUFFALO POTTERY RALPH STUART HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising two having vibrant polychrome pheasant designs, one having a central polychrome floral design encircled by a light blue border with gilt decoration, and one having a pink and purple morning glory flower and vine border on cream ground, all signed "R.[alph] Stuart". Printed marks include "BUFFALO / CHINA / IVORY / Hand Painted", "BUFFALO / CHINA / VITRIFIED / IVORY / U.G.", and "BUFFALO / CHINA / 1922". Buffalo Pottery Company, Buffalo, New York. First half 20th century.
Condition: Three undamaged, except two having some expected scattered scratches; and one with rim hairline and moderate crazing.
Size: Plates 10 1/8" to 10 7/8" D.
