AMERICAN DECORATED STONEWARE TABLE CHURN

AMERICAN DECORATED STONEWARE TABLE CHURN, salt-glazed, "2" gallon capacity, cylindrical shouldered form, galleried rim with inner seat, beaded neck ring, arched handles, and Albany-slip glazed interior. Brushed cobalt double-blossom floral decoration on front. Possibly R. & B.C. Miller, Trumbull County, Ohio. Second half 19th century.

Condition: Overall good condition with some flakes to rim interior. Firing imperfections, including moderate glazed over rim chip, as made.

Size: 11 7/8" H, 6 3/4" D rim.
