AMERICAN MAHOGANY AND GILTWOOD MIRROR WALL CLOCK, rectangular case having broken-arch pediment, above hinged front divided into two sections with the uppermost having reverse-painted decoration surrounding the clock face over an old, likely original, mirrored section, all surrounded by turned giltwood half columns and resting on a half rounded molded base plinth. Retains likely original gilt surface, and an older finished surface with warm color. Side cornice plinths possibly replacements. Circa 1840. 36" HOA, 14 1/4" WOA.

Condition Report: Very good overall condition with scattered minor finish wear and losses, small losses to reverse-painted surface. Pendulum with a loss to end which would hang from leader.
