AMERICAN STERLING AND COIN SILVER FLATWARE AND SHAKERS, LOT OF TEN, comprising a coin silver teaspoon by Watts & Harper of Philadelphia, PA with retailer's mark for Benjamin Barton, Jr. of Alexandria, VA (active 1816-1887), and the remainder sterling pieces consisting of a set of three dessert/soup spoons with engraved decoration to handles by J. Stuart MacDonald of Baltimore, MD, a "Louis XV" strawberry fork by Durgin / Gorham Mfg. Co., a 1901 Pan-American Exposition souvenir teaspoon by Alvin Mfg. Co., a Niagara Falls souvenir teaspoon with figural handle depicting the Legend of the White Canoe, a Mt. Rainier, Seattle souvenir teaspoon with Native American figural handle by Mechanics Sterling Co., and a pair of squat square-form salt and pepper shakers by Baldwin, Miller Co., Inc., some pieces with personalized engravings. Most with maker's / retailer's marks, sterling pieces each marked for fineness. Total weight: 9.095 ozt. Second half 19th/20th century. Shakers 1 1/2" HOA, 1 1/2" SQ base.
