AMERICAN WHITE'S, UTICA, NEW YORK MOLDED STONEWARE DRINKING ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, comprising a pitcher featuring relief image of two mythical winged creatures facing an urn on one side with family scene on opposite, having German script above images with "Prosit." below spout, impressed "1" to base, and a stein featuring low relief images of figures with mugs inscribed "Prosit", impressed "8" to base, each example having cobalt decorations with molded fish-like handles and decorative hinged lids. White's Pottery, Utica, NY. Late 19th/early 20th century.
Condition: Pitcher undamaged; stein having minute flake on cobalt band near base. Each having firing imperfections, as made.
