maker SV, 1778, of compressed baluster form, with a bell-shaped finial to the ogee domed cover, a scroll handle opposing a short beak, on an oval moulded spreading foot. 30cm, 30.2 troy ounces
The marks on the underside are clear. The hinged cover opens and closes well. There is a tiny crack in the rim of the cover. The handle is firm in the sockets. No engraving. In generally good condition.
