AN AMLASH POTTERY BULL RHYTON

Circa 300 – 100 BC. A hollow terracotta vessel in the shape of a bull, with two globular sections formed the body surmounted by a trumpet-shaped filling spout and strap handle, two functional pouring spouts form the neck adorning a head with stylised horns; the body is painted in linear and hatched decoration.
