Excellent design with rather unusual archaic medallion surrounded by angular floral vine, hooked palmettes and large hooked leaves. In stylised turtle-palmette border between flowering vine and plain stripes. This carpet has slight localized wear to the top pile, otherwise it has good pile. In general very good usable condition throughout. Selvages rebound. Ends with short fringes, secured. Good colour combination and very good square size, sought after on the market. Great furnishing piece.
