AN ANTIQUE KULA PRAYER RUG, TURKEY, approx: 186cm. x 103cm. Very nicely and design and very well balanced colours. Seldom found type in the sales. Early weaving, mid 19th.century This rug has slight wear top pile, down to knot collar in places. Black is slightly corroded. Old repair at one end well done and slightly faded over the years. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, slightly fraying. Despite the imperfections, this rug is in good usable condition. Very good furnishing piece.Click here to share:
