AN ANTIQUE KURDISH LONG RUG approx: 9ft.7in. x 4ft.7in.((291cm. x 140cm.) Nicely drawn overall design of polychrome floral lozenge lattice. In shaded green border of stylised pole palmettes and rosettes between meandering floral vine and plain stripes. Apart of touches of slight wear to the top pile this rug has good pile and is in very good usable condition. Selvages rebound, well done. ends with short fringes, secured. Woven on wool foundation. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
