well carved as a four-legged beast in profile, the back arched slightly and the tail curled, finely incised with geometric patterns, the stone of a semi-translucent buff to light brown color with some encrustation

Length 5½ in., 14 cm

Condition Report:
In general good condition considering its age and type. The small hook on its hunched back is lost. The spine has been polished down slightly. Overall with expected wear and minute chips and nicks to the extremities. One side with an area of encrustation to the stone.
