AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MELAS PRAYER RUG, TURKEY, approx: 129cm. x 105cm. Great example for this type with very nicely drawn design and good colour combination. This piece has old restorations, very well done, slightly corroded charcoal-brown. Touches of wear and old re-piling very well blended. Selvages rebound very well done.
