AN EGG AND SPINACH-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE AND BOWL
The bowl with a Chenghua four-character mark, the vase with a four-character mark, wan fu you tong , Kangxi
Comprising: a bottle vase of globular body rising to a long slender neck, inscribed to the base with a four-character auspicious mark reading you fu tong xiang (may infinite good fortune surround you); a bowl rising from a short foot to rounded sides, the base inscribed with a Chenghua four-character mark, each vessel covered in a vibrant splashed polychrome glaze.
The vase 21.2cm (8 3/5in) high; the bowl 12cm (4 3/4in) diam. (2).
