Of square format, predominantly of red wool in two adjoining lengths, the red field surrounding the residual lobed black centre, framed by a harlequin border and fringe, entirely embroidered in manner of a woven shawl in coloured wools with symmetrical and elaborately scrolling vegetal designs, the coloured patches appliqued, 190cm x 176cm.
