AN ENGRAVED TOBACCO BOX

Brass box of elliptical section, engraved. At the centre of the cover a scene featuring a lady and a gentleman, on the sides two cartouches with remains of inscriptions, the border engraved with floral pattern. The borders of the body engraved with floral motifs, the lower surface with a scene by a lake depicting two characters and two more cartouches featuring remains of inscriptions.
