AN ENGRAVED TOBACCO BOX

Brass box of elliptical section, engraved. The cover decorated with a scene featuring a lady and a knight, between them a cartouche with remains of an inscription, the effigy of a city on the ground, the border engraved with floral pattern. A small reparation at the inside. The borders of the body engraved with floral pattern, the lower surface with a scene depicting two couples, at the centre another cartouche with inscription, more floral motifs all around. Provided with a hole at the back.
