AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE FIGURE OF A WARRIOR, CIRCA 500-475 B.C.
from the top of a candelabrum, standing on a spool-shaped base with beaded upper edge, his left leg slightly advanced and his hands held to his hips, and wearing boots and short mantle enveloping his shoulders and arms, his long hair falling in a broad mass over the nape of the neck and surmounted by a high-crested helmet with upturned cheek-pieces.
