The light beige field with scrolling palmette arabesques and delicate floral vine around light blue concentric arabesque with pendants medallion. Ivory and light blue spandrels similar. In light blue palmette and floral vine border between arabesque, floral and plain stripes. This rug has full pile of fine kurk wool and part silk and is in very good condition throughout. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Very good example for this type, Attractive.
