Arabic manuscript on paper, 173 leaves plus 2 fly-leaves, 11 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink, ruled in black, gold and red, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings or titles in white rounded cursive against a gold ground within cartouches, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, 4 illuminated headings, f.52b and f.53a with paintings of Mecca and Medina, in a gilt and stamped leather binding, with flap, in fitted box

17.8 by 12cm.

Condition Report:
In overall good condition, the margins are clean with minor stains and smudges, some losses to the illuminations, the binding restored, as viewed.
