Arabic manuscript on paper, 172 leaves plus 4 fly-leaves, 15 lines to the page, written in naskh in black ink, ruled in gold, black and red, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, surah headings in white cursive against a gold ground within cartouches decorated with flowers, verse markers in the margins within gold and polychrome floral roundels, f.1b with an illuminated shamsa, f.2b and f.3a with a polychrome and gold illuminated frontispiece and f.171b and f.172a with a finispiece bifolium, f.172b with a illuminated roundel, in stamped and gilt leather binding, with flap

13.5 by 10cm.

Condition Report:
In good condition, the margins are clean, with occasional minor tears to the pages due to use, the illuminations is overall bright and crisp, with minor smudges and losses to the paint, some discoloration and minor traces of corrosion due to the green ink, an ownership label with 'AHA' at the beginning, as viewed.
