surah al-‘Imran (III) v.92 to surah al-Nisa (IV) v.23
Arabic manuscript on thick pink paper, 31 leaves, plus 2 fly-leaves, 7 lines to the page, written in rayhani in black ink, the word Allah in gold outlined in black, verses separated by gold and polychrome rosettes, 1 surah heading in gold rounded cursive, gold and polychrome verse markers in the margins, f.1a with a gold and polychrome heading (‘unwan), f.1b and f.2a with a polychrome and gold frame consisting of 3 lines of black rayhani against a red-etched ground, framed above and below by large thuluth in white against blue-ground within cartouches, in brown stamped and gilt binding decorated with a central roundel, the doublures with interlacing designs

28.7 by 20.4cm.

Condition Report:
In overall good condition, the margins are clean, the pages have been number with Arabic numerals on the upper margins, minor stains and rubbing to the ink and illumination, occasional minor paper restorations, the contemporaneous binding restored, as viewed.
