Arabic manuscript on watermarked paper, 316 leaves written in neat naskh script in black ink, small gold discs between verses, surah headings written in pink on gold panels, further text divisions marked by illuminated devices and written in red ink, catchwords, occasional glosses in margins in red ink, opening double page of illumination in colours and gold, red leather binding with gold-stamped central medallion and cornerpieces, with flap (detached)

19.8 by 13.1cm.

Condition Report:
Generally in fair to good condition. Text pages in good condition with occasional thumbing. Opening double page somewhat worn and parting in gutter. Spine worn. Fore edge flap of binding detached. As viewed.
