Raised on four small legs and with a reticulated cover with leaf finial, vividly decorated in underglaze and overglaze polychrome enamels and gold to depict overlapping leaves and flowers. The cover and finial similarly decorated.

Condition: Very good condition with expected signs of use and wear.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1970 and has remained in the family ever since.
