The 9 3/4 inch blade of diamond shape with deep fullers on each side with engraved floral motif and double headed eagle and Cyrillic inscription on the reverse: Zlataoust/Russia/Army. Wooden scabbard covered with black leather. Gilt brass scabbard with gilt brass mounts.
