comprising twenty zarfs, including one with a custom box; each with beautiful individual forms of decoration, notably: examples feature in two types of gold, with gilding, polychrome enamelling, jewelled details, some designed in openwork and others closed, with fine filigree, floral details, musical emblems, trophies, or landscape scenes, one with seed-pearl details, one carved wood exterior
two: 6cm., 2⅜in. ; eight: 5.7cm., 2¼in. ; four: 5.5cm., 2⅛in.; four: 5cm., 2 in. ; two: 4.7cm., 1⅞in.
Condition Report:
All in good condition, some minor scratches to interior surface of some of them, one or two with very small sized stones missing, the box with some wear to exterior and interior velvet, old Christie's stickers, as viewed.
