AN INDIAN IRON DHAL SHIELD WITH BRONZE DECORATION, 19TH CEN.
Consisting primarily of steel, the outer surface having an applied brass roundel, bosses, pierced ovals and crescents, all incised with small circles centered on dots. The outer border having crenellated and incised brass decoration, the inside being lined with red fabric and having a similarly lined cushion at its center.

Condition Report: Brass very clean with only minor dents in places. Iron having surface rust but largely in good condition. Fabric in great condition for its age.
