PROBABLY BIHAR OR RAJASTHAN, CIRCA 10TH CENTURY
Solid cast in bronze, standing naked with arms hanging at either side, with a serene expression, the hair forming tight ringlets. Mounted on a custom wood and black metal stand.
The figure 24cm high, 8.5cm wide. With stand 28cm high.

PROVENANCE:
Ex: L. Katatic Collection Melbourne, acquired from Phoenix Antiques in the early 1980's.

Condition:

Condition: Feet missing, cut from the original stand. Pitting to the bronze in parts, and part verdigris encrustation.
