Cast brass, with openwork and engraved decoration and inscriptions; the front with tracery engraved with stylised leaf decoration, inscribed with a long religious inscription at the cusped top, connected to a shackle and loop; the back with decorative lobed cartouches engraved with palmettes and foliage, the top also bearing a religious du'a; The main inscription on the front reads: 'In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Blessings upon our master Muhammad, the noblest of the Messengers, I place my trust in God, the Opener, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.'
