China, late 19th - early 20th century. Carved from solid hardwood, possibly Huanghuali, with openwork carvings, four drawers, the neatly incised inlays made from mother-of-pearl.
Condition: Good condition with fine patina, wear, some surface scratches, nicks and dents, minor losses.
Provenance: From the private collection of a German diplomat, who acquired this lot during the 1930s in China (by repute). Thence by descent.
