An interesting sabre

dating: 19th Century provenance: Caucasia, Curved, single-and false-edged blade (this part is slightly enlarged) with double groove, base with barely readable inscriptions (in Latin?), rust areas; silver hilt finely engraved with floral motifs, with angled pommel, langets shaped as palmettes and quillons curled toward the blade. Wooden scabbard, covered with leather and sewn with metallic thread, silver cap and upper band decorated en suite with the grip, bottom band and chape in thinner foil. Small defects and parts missing. length 85 cm.
