12¼-inch dial with vase and scroll spandrels, matted centre with seconds dial and date aperture, the added arch signed on a boss James Aickin, Cork, rack and bell striking movement, the case with architectural cresting above fretwork panels and Corinthian-capped stop-fluted hood pillars, shaped trunk door flanked by pierced fret pilasters, the panelled plinth on ogee bracket feet,

Condition Report:
Dial is rather dirty, silvering rubbed, minute hand repaired and all hands painted black, added arch. Movement is complete and appears to retain the original wheelwork throughout, it would benefit from a clean and fresh oil. Case is rather dry and has some old worm damage, has probably been stripped and re-polished in the past, old losses, cracks and marks throughout, vertical crack to backboard and plinth. With two weights and pendulum but no winder or case keys.
