AN ITALIAN BAROQUE STYLE CARVED WALNUT THRONE ARMCHAIR, CIRCA 1850, with a tall rectangular padded back issuing sinuous fluted arms ending in acanthus scrolled paterae handrests on short shaped supports and a padded trapezoidal seat, raised on short scrolling "S" form legs joined by a similarly carved stylized "X" form stretcher on foliate detailed square feet.
