each piece painted with a Chinese fenced garden at the centre, triple reserves of flowers at the rim, within an ochre line edge and comprising: forty-seven plates, eleven soup plates, eleven larger plates (69)
Condition Report:
Eleven plates - 28cm. 11-inches diameter - (ten in good order, one cracked across with riveted repair and a section of the rim associated also repaired)
Eleven soup plates - 23cm. 9in - (six in good order and five damaged of which four have rivetted repairs)
Forty-seven plates - 23.5cm. 9 1/4in - (slight variations in the shapes and colours of the rims and the intensity of the palette, 37 in generally good order of the remainder one has a small rim chip, one has a very faint crack to the rim, one has a minor crack to the well and a star crack to the interior. One is cracked from the rim to the centre, one is extensively damaged and pinned, one is cracked across and pinned, one is cracked from the rim in two places one of which has been pinned, three have cracks from the rim which have been cracked to the underside).
Typical of tin-glazed earthenware there are minor glaze chips and flakes to the rims but overall in good order and well decorated)
