Ottoman Turkey, 17th century
Of typical shallow form, with flat everted rim, on circular foot, the white interior painted in bole red, cobalt blue and green within black lines, with a wheel of flowers issuing from a central roundel, the rim with alternating vegetal and flowerhead motif, with circular blue motifs on the exterior, inventory number 278 on the base, 26cm diam.
