AN OTTOMAN JAMBIYA DAGGER WITH GOLD INLAY, 19TH CENTURY
An Ottoman Jambiya of characteristic form with a curved double-edged pointy blade with a central ridge. The hilt is made of steel richly decorated with gold inlay. The scabbard is silver-mounted and covered in dark velvet.
Late 18th - early 19th c.
