with curved single-edged blade inlaid with the bladesmith's name, 'Sagh Sah' and with the date on one face, the hilt encased in silver chased with scrolls (small losses) and fitted with a pair of horn grip-scales secured by four rivets, rising to a large eared pommel (small chips), in its wooden scabbard encased in chased silver decorated with flowers, foliage and trophies-of-arms within a framework of elaborate scrolls, and the locket with a small loop fitted with an early chain with three faceted coral beads
