AN UNUSUAL BRONZE BOTTLE-FORM VESSEL, HU
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-AD 220)
The hu is thinly cast and decorated overall with various decorative bands, including three wide bands of feathers on the neck, and there are two slightly concave bands encircling the shoulder. The bronze has a pale, milky-brown patina.
